Necro-Nesia is a survival horror video game developed by Spike,
revealed for the Nintendo Wii on 2006-05-09 at E3. In the game, the player uses the analog stick to
move the character, shakes the Wii remote to dislodge insects that jump onto the player's body, and
holds back the analog stick and raises the remote to jump. It was a launch title for Wii in
Japan.
The game was shown once again at the Japanese Wii conference on the 13th of
September in 2006 in Japan, where it was announced that the game will launch with the console, on
December 2nd. The brief trailer for the game featured a forest level, possibly the same one from
the E3 demo, and a fight with a giant tarantula. The animation system seemed to have been improved,
the graphics made smoother and more detailed, and the controls more responsive.[citation

The scheduled US release is 2007.
